Jesus is one person with two natures: a divine nature and a human nature. Yet, we ask ourselves, how could Jesus be fully God and be tempted? How could Jesus be fully God and die? Answers to these questions can be explained through Christ's states of humiliation and exaltation. Philippians chapter 2 is a good place to read to see these two states in Scripture.
